ConceptThis project is an academic rebranding exercise.
The objective was to reimagine the festival’s visual identity, translating its core values into a contemporary and cohesive system.
Fragile is a city-wide festival in Parma that explores sustainability in all its dimensions. It brings together scientists, artists, activists, designers, and other voices to reflect on our complex relationship with the environment, society, and the future. Through talks, exhibitions, and participatory events, the festival invites the public to engage with ideas of resilience and care.
ProcessThe design process began with an analysis of the festival’s mission and audience, followed by visual research aimed at capturing the dual nature of fragility: both delicate and strong. From this, I developed a flexible identity system designed to adapt across various applications while maintaining a clear conceptual thread.
OutcomeThe result is a rebranding concept that proposes a new visual narrative for Fragile Festival, without claiming to replace its official identity.
